Laura is currently studying the microcredential course – Lean Six Sigma for Biopharma – PF6035: Lean Six Sigma for BioPharma | University College Cork. Laura recently shared some insights into her experience studying the microcredential course with the iEd Hub this term: “The Lean Six Sigma for BioPharma course offered great insights into Lean practices in the pharmaceutical industry. As a full-time PhD student in the School of Pharmacy, I enjoyed being exposed to the industry perspective and learning about Lean projects carried out by other course participants at their workplaces. I am sure I will greatly benefit from the skills acquired in this course when I transition into industry after my PhD. Overall, I really recommend the Lean Six Sigma course as it is a great introduction to Lean practice in the pharmaceutical industry and includes lots of hands-on learning!”
