Education
We have a range of academic programmes and courses to suit the needs of our students. We collaborate with industry partners to develop our offerings, going beyond traditional teaching. Using innovative teaching methods and research, we prepare graduates with strong technical knowledge and a transversal skillset that will help them adapt to change throughout their careers.
Features of our Programmes & Courses
Our students learn specialised knowledge and core skills in their specific field. These are driven by research and the latest advancements in each field. Guest lecturing from industry experts enhance students learning and development of these skills to create highly proficient graduates.
Our students actively engage in industry-related scenarios, case studies, and collaborate on group projects, presentation pitches, and podcasts. This develops the specific teamwork, leadership, analytical and critical thinking skills required by industry.
Instructional designers support the development and implementation of teaching, learning, and assessment approaches based on evidence from neuroscience, education psychology research, and e-learning best practice. This enables students to learn smarter and faster, to hit the ground running when they enter the workplace.
Learning spaces in the iEd Hub include regular access to a pilot tableting facility and cleanroom; 3D printing labs; VR and podcasting suites; and a simulation room and 360° immersive suite for flexible scenario-based learning. All technology is used according to best practice from industry feedback and educational psychology research.
iEd brings together experts from multiple disciplines including medicine, pharmacy, business, and engineering. This allows us to blend different viewpoints and knowledge into our curriculum, breaking down conventional academic barriers. As a result, our students gain a comprehensive understanding of interconnected fields.
