Applications are open for the MSc. Medical Device Development!
The MSc in Medical Device Development has been co-developed between the Engineering faculty at MTU and the School of Medicine at UCC, along with a number of MedTech industry partners, as part of the iEd Hub suite of industry-facing programmes.
It is aimed at those interested in developing human-centric biomedical devices, products, services, and experiences. The course is designed to provide a new and unique skills profile, combining engineering and medicine with embedded transversal skills. This will strengthen an engineer’s ability to understand the clinical applications of medical devices and facilitate the healthcare professional to directly input into the design/development phase of MedTech products.
This course can be taken full-time over one year or part-time over two years. Find out more at: MSc in Medical Device Development | Munster Technological University – MTU
Development of this course has been supported by the Higher Education Authority under the Human Capital Initiative, Pillar 3. ‘The iEd Hub’: Education developed for industry with industry!
